No Huddle
Haslett, that was in fact a penalty.  But I agree with you in that the refs should at least be consistent.  Call it every week, or not at all.  Though break for the Saints.

How much longer will Vick the RB stay healthy?  I don’t think he’ll last the whole season.

Warrick Dunn is the most underrated RB in the league.

Carson Palmer is playing like the best QB in the league.  Kitna is still a good QB that can start on more than half the teams in the league.  Playing Palmer instead of Kitna turned out to be a great move given that it was a very tough and gutsy decision to make in the first place.

Isn’t Jamal Lewis supposed to run all over the Browns and not Chester Taylor?  Lewis has lost a lot this season.  I guess he didn’t work out in jail everyday like others you see on TV shows do.

Leftwich almost became the goat of the week with his interception at the end of regulation.  Run the ball and kick the winning FG!  Instead, enter Tommy Maddox, huge goat of the week.

Ricky Williams is still warming up.  Give him time.

The Vikings didn’t come together as a team to battle adversity.  They took the other road instead, which was mailing it in.  What a pathetic performance against the Bears.

The Patriots made a game of it in the end.  But in reality, the Broncos owned them.

Vinny’s honeymoon is over.  Holcomb’s continues for another week.

Ladainian Tomlinson, best football player in the league.  Runs, catches and passes for a TD in the same game.  Just awesome.

Shaun Alexander gets 4 TDs on Sunday night, as usual.  It’s after games like this that the Seahawks must really want to find a way to sign him long term.

Offensive Player of the Week: Ladainian Tomlinson for his run, catch and pass.  Shaun Alexander for his 4 TDs.

Defensive Player of the Week: Jared Allen, DE, Chiefs.  3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

Special Teams Player of the Week:  Antwan Randal El for his punt return for a TD.  Pinned to the sideline and still manages to sprint to the end zone.

Top Ten:
1. Indianapolis Colts – at the top until they lose a game.
2. Denver Broncos – 5 straight wins.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars – beating the big teams.
4. San Diego Chargers – despite their record.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Still winning.
6. Cincinnati Bengals – Carson Palmer looks great
7. Seattle Seahawks – putting together a nice little run.
8. Dallas Cowboys – Bledsoe’s revival
9. Atlanta Falcons – with or without Vick they can win.
10. Philadelphia Eagles – how much longer can McNabb last?
