WEEKLY PICKS
WEEK 4

Christopher Kay’s Weekly Picks

Sunday
Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints (1pm)
The Saints will come out and be dejected after realizing they miss their home now that they’re in San Antonio for this ‘home’ game.  The Bills come out running, as confidence is eroding in young Losman.
Bills over Saints 16-13

Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars (1pm)
The Broncos are coming off an inspiring win an Monday night.  But this shortened week will hurt them against the formidable Jaguar defense.
Jaguars over Broncos 13-6

Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1pm)
I’d love to pick the Lions in an upset, bringing the Bucs back down to Earth, but the Bucs are home and that’ll prove to be the deciding factor.
Buccaneers over Lions 23-21

Houston Texans at Cincinatti Bengals (1pm)
The Bengals will be brought down to Earth, as Carr and co. don’t face a great defense for the first time this year.  The Texans will battle hard and win on the road.
Texans over Bengals 32-23

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (1pm)
The Colts finally get some offensive production, but it won’t be enough as McNair finds a way to win.  The Colts’ defense will be questioned after this week.
Titans over Colts 27-24

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (1pm)
The Chiefs are still licking their wounds from the Monday night humiliation when the Eagles some to town.  The Chiefs’ defense will be exposed.  Again.
Eagles over Chiefs 34-24

San Diego Chargers at New England Patriots (1pm)
The Chargers, as any team that faces the Patriots, will be pumped for this game and will use Tomlinson until his legs fall off.  Marty learned how to ride him last week (how could he forget) and he’ll do so with good results this week.
Chargers over Patriots 28-18

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Redskins (1pm)
The Redskins are off to a suprising start.  The Seahawks, despite inconsistency, are a good team.  They’ll beat up the Redskins as this week is about bringing the suprises off their high horse.
Seahawks over Redskins 23-10

St. Louis Rams at New York Giants (1pm)
The Rams have one of their good days.  Eli Manning is still ‘learning’ as Joe Theismann has pointed out on his every pass attempt.
Rams over Giants 34-23

New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens (4:05pm)
Brooks Bollinger, starting QB, New York Jets.
Ravens over Jets 17-6

Dallas Cowboys at Oakland Raiders (4:15pm)
The Raiders will come out firing on all cylinders and score a lot of early points.  They’ll spend the rest of the game trying to hold off the Cowboys, and they’ll succeed, barely.
Raiders over Cowboys 31-28

Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons (4:15pm)
Culpepper will build on his performance last week and he’ll keep on rolling, right over the Falcons.  Another big day for Culpepper.
Vikings over Falcons 31-21

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals (8:30pm)
The 49ers aren’t good, but they’re a much improved team in terms of coaching.  The Cardinals don’t have Kurt Warner for this game and haven’t seemed to get much going this year.
49ers over Cardinals 27-21

Monday
Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers (9pm)
Will the Packers play hard because this is Monday night?  Well, even if they do, they aren’t good enough to do anything, Favre included.  This is a bad team, and they’ll show just how bad they are on a national stage.
Panthers over Packers 38-13

RECORD LAST WEEK: 9-5
OVERALL RECORD: 27-19
