Michigan Wolverines vs. Ohio State Buckeyes Part II Please.
No Huddle
What a horrendous game by Pennington. So many missed passes
LaDainian Tomlinson is unbelievable. MVP of the season. Sorry Peyton.
Another week and another Vick stinker.
Why is it that the Dolphins can win only when their season means nothing? This happened last year too. What’s wrong Saban? Can’t get your team’s engines revving high when you have to play for real?
Tough break for Donovan McNabb and the Eagles. Literally. What a waste of what could have been a good team. I do like Jeff Garcia though. Much better than Feeley, that’s for sure. I hope Andy Reid makes the right decision to start Garcia for the rest of the season. They still may have a shot. Maybe.
Brian Billick’s Ravens keep winning with defense and special teams. It won’t last. Too bad they’ve already won enough to make an early playoff exit imminent.
Vince Young sucks and will forever suck. The Titans should have been able to see this before the draft. I know I did.
Tony Romo is doing eerily well. Not sure what to make of it yet though. There was illegal contact on that last play for Peyton Manning. The refs missed that call. And the other call that Dungy should have challenged and later blamed CBS for not showing a replay. He’s probably right. Replays on TV are always mishandled and important ones are never shown. Regular readers will know I gripe about this often.
Drew Brees: Superstar. I didn’t know if it was a good idea for the Chargers to get rid of him or not, but it’s working out amazingly for both of them. I never agreed in the drafting of Rivers to begin with though. Who knows what other player they could have right now with Brees QBing them.
J.P. Losman has not been doing that bad this year. Maybe the last second win can give him and his teammate’s confidence for the rest of the season to build on something positive for next season. The Bills have a bigger problem in that they can’t stop the run.
The Seahawks will win the weak NFC West, sorry 49ers, it ain’t happening for you guys. They can’t stop the run though which is very bad. They lost this game though because of Seneca Wallace and some mind numbingly dumb throws.
Mail Bag
Empty. Like my heart.
Offensive Player of the Week: Drew Brees for putting up the 6th best passing yardage ever in the NFL with 510 yards. Lee Evans gets an honorable mention for his two 83 yard TD receptions in the first quarter.
Defensive Player of the Week: Brian Urlacher. Too many people say he’s overrated but he really isn’t. He’s a great player. Amazing tackler, great in coverage with great hands as was proven with yet another interception on Sunday.
Special Teams Player of the Week: BJ Sams. A great return man really helping the Ravens to their lofty record.
Joe Theismann Award of the Week: Matt Vasgersian and JC Pearson again. It’s more Matt than JC though. 4th and 2 for the Seahawks at the end of the game and it’s obvious to EVERYONE that the Seahawks gained no yards… Matt gets excited and says it’s gonna be close! No measurement, just instant dejection by the Seahawks knowing that they didn’t even come close to making it. This guy is retarded. His real name must either be Mongo or Bilo.
Pet Peeve of the Week: Eli Manning.
