Last Week (vs. Spread): 5-9 (6-8)
Overall (vs. Spread): 56-44 (36-64)
Week #9
Sunday
Miami Dolphins at Chicago Bears (-14.5)
The best versus the worst. The Bears proved last week against the 49ers that they don’t take bad teams lightly.
Bears over Dolphins 34-6
Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions (+6.5)
Mike Vick comes back to reality and the Lions surprise. Vick can’t possibly have 3 good games in a row, he’s mister inconsistency.
Lions over Falcons 21-20
Houston Texans at New York Giants (-13.5)
The Giants are on a roll. Kubiak’s benching of Carr, a stupid move for sure, has nothing to do with this upset of the younger Manning.
Texans over Giants 27-20
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1.5)
The Saints are coming back to Earth after their early season success.
Bucs over Saints 32-28
Kansas City Chiefs at St. Louis Rams (-2.5)
The chiefs won’t make as many mistakes as they did against the crippled Seahawks.
Chiefs over Rams 28-24
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravenss (-3.5)
Ocho Cinco is fired up as are the rest of the Bengals. They need this win to stay within reach of the Ravens for the division lead.
Bengals over Ravens 30-20
Green Bay Packers at Buffalo Bills (-3.5)
Favre has never won in Buffalo. This will continue as McGahee will have a huge day.
Bills over Packers 27-21
Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars (-9.5)
Vince Young and the Titans are still no good.
Jags over Titans 20-17
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins (+3.5)
Romo’s going to feel a lot of pressure and make some turnovers taking him down off his high horse for a bit.
Redskins over Cowboys 24-23
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers (+6.5)
The 49ers were embarrassed and will bounce back accordingly. The Vikings will not bounce back accordingly.
49ers over Vikings 23-21
Cleveland Browns at San Diego Chargers (-13.5)
The Chargers have the occasional hiccup, but not against the Browns. The rest of the chargers D will play harder now that \Merriman is serving his suspension.
Chargers over Browns 38-6
Denver Broncos at Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5)
The Steelers are in really rough shape and the hard times will continue. The Broncos want to get back to form after Peyton toyed with them.
Broncos over Steelers 23-13
Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots (-2.5)
The Pats have been quiet this year because they haven’t played anyone. They play a serious someone in Peyton Manning this week. The outcome, in my eyes, is predictable.
Colts over Patriots 38-13
Monday
Oakland Raiders at Seattle Seahawks (-7.5)
Even with Seneca Wallace and Maurice Morris the Seahawks can beat the Raiders even though the Raiders are coming off some luck-filled wins.
Seahawks over Raiders 27-10
